Hi Dave,
I thought this was film – Delta 400 or something, but I see its not. Very convincing :).
Anyhow, thats not important.Theres alot of interest in this photo. I like the lines in general, horizontal, vertical, diagonal.
The man in dark colours coming up the steps going to the right, cutting through the diagonals, likewise the man in the background
in light colours going in the opposite direction. The 2 lines coming down splitting the scene into 3. Might have been nicer if you had been
position further to the left so all 3 sections were more even/balanced.Anyhow, the more I look at it the more I like it. Enough rambling :)
Thanks Mark – I like the idea of using the 2 vertical lines to split the image into 3 sections. What is shown here is slightly cropped from the original image so I should be able to move the lines into a better position. Thanks for the advice.
By the way, I used Silver Efex Pro 2 to process the image. That application has great film simulation modes. I didn’t use Delta but did use T-Max with some extra customization.
Ah cool. I bought Silver Efex yesterday. Good price with a 15% discount included !
