    The face doesn’t appear to be as focused as the bottom of the shirt and teh jacket, ie you’ve focused in the middle of the picture instead of the face?
    His face seems like a wax work too.
    What lens and camera did you use and how close to the subject were you?

    Canon 400D, 18-55Lens, no flash, 10ft approx.

    I get what you mean about the focasing though..

    Actually it looks more like camera shake or motionblur from too slow a shutter speed, than from focus. Composition is fine.

    Yeah the composition is fine alright.
    Look forward to seeing some otehr pictures.
    Using a 50mm 1.8 might have gave you a better result than the lens you used, you can pick them up fairly cheap online or around 125 euros in shops here.

    Thanks for the feedback.. im only knew to it.. whats the composition?..

    would it be worth my while investing in the 50mm.??…would i get a bit of use from it?..

    50mm lens would only be of use to you if you were close to subject, but it’s a handy lens for everyday use too.
