I haven’t been taking many photos in a while, it was too hot, temperature recently dropped so I’m out again with camera.
    Taken with Portra 800.

    Thanks Alan and Vee,

Yes Alan, plenty of power being used, especially down the street there, it really brightens up with signage everywhere.

Exposure is spot on Martin, I guess the green tinge comes from the film.

Yeah the green tinge come from the film. I picked Kodak Portra 800 precisely for the colour shift, Fujifilm Pro 800 I find to be more faithful.
I have found it to tinge brown indoors and green outdoors, don’t ask me why, I guess something to do with the colour layers responding differently to different types (temp) of light.
Below are two examples of the colour shift in Portra 800, the green one is a bit ott.

    Cheers,

    Martin,

Square format seems to be perfect for the shot. I like the way the moving train cuts the photo into two photos.
This photo would just about tempt me to try colour film photography tbh.

Btw, this is where Daido Moriyama hangs out, ya ?

    Thanks Mark,
Yeah in that video that was posted on PI before he started out down the road and around the corner to the left.
He might even be in the photo somewhere; it could be a Where’s Daido?
