    c&c please – its so hard to get these little critters to stay still to get them in focus

    great shot you really got him crystal sharp super colours too. would like to have seen it with perhap a shallower DOF to throw some of the undergrowth out of focus. But hey I am only being devils advocate to a super shot

    Only new to this area of photography myself, it really interests me … This shot was actually taken on a golf course, I was just about to walk to the green and I spotted this little guy in the rough. Thank god I had my camera with me . . .

    Colin, Hate to put a dampner on this but to me the ladybird is not sharply focused but the vegetation to the tight of its haed is very focused. Other than that a great attempt though at a very difficult subject.

    I’d agree with Pat on this one, If the head had been sharper it would be a cracker of an image :wink:
