Just completed my Little darkroom a couple of days ago, I thought that a 6’x6′ room would be more than enough, I realised after I bought some 20×16 trays (just because I got some free paper when I bought the enlarger) and layed them out on my table top that it was going to be a struggle. I think I should stick to 10×8, an extension is out of the question. My sink is a basic plastic storage box, with a hole cut for the drain,it’s worked so far,hot water via kettle. My one session at printing has made me realise that i’ll need to put some thought into the process, example, take the paper out of the drawer before focusing because the easel blocks the paper drawer, you know, silly things like that.
