Sigma 28-70mm f2.8

Well i bought a new Sigma 28-70 while i was in chester from an independant dealer (camera solutions) firstly the store and staff were all great and very helpful, no bother trying out anything in the shop i think i spent an hour looking and lens’s filters etc…
I had intended to get a 24-70 with the Macro but as the 28-70 offers f2.8 right through the range I thought it was better suited to my needs as I dont do much macro work.
Very sharp images untill you hit the 70mm then it you lose it a bit but you have to look quite hard to notice and i didnt test all apatures ! Other than that the look and feel of the lens is great, very sturdy and professinal looking and for the price its great value.
It works fast and the colour’s are excellent so all in all i am very happy with it.The price was £230 and i got a free Hoya UV filter worth about £23, thats a bargin were am from lol

Just spotted this lens selling new on eBay for €195 from Cork… granted it’s the Nikon fit… and €15 for shipping… but still very cheap.
The seller has been around for a while now… 100% feedback… but only 39 scored.
Sounds too good to be true.
