SIGMA EF-530-DG ST SUPER Flash vs Nikon SB600

    Hi all,

Haven’t posted in a while, apologies but you know how things go, any way I currently have an SB400 Speedlite and works fine however, it’s a little limited in it’s bounce capabilities so, I’m contemplating buying either an SB600 or the Sigma, so my question is simple, which would you get, considering the Sigma is considerably cheaper, has anyone any experience with it?? I’m sure the Nikon is brilliant and reliable but in these recessionary times the Sigma seems to be a real possibility.

So, should I get the Sigma or is it really a case of you get what you pay for??????

    Many thanks,

    Chris

The Sigma as a flash unit works well. The biggest problem I have with it is the method of attachment. It wobbles. So much so that mine fell off and now it’s intermittent. Spend your money wisely…it’ll stand to you in the long run.

Thanks, I’ll have to dig around the back of the sofa some more,

    Cheers,

    Chris
