Oh I think this is a great shot, I like the way the hat seems to fade into the backround, and you can see the reflection of the lights on his face. He looks like a seasoned rocker…. Maybe he is a country singer ?? Anyway great Shot. John.
Sgt_MajorMemberIve found out since that he’s played with Paul McCartney, Joe Cocker and a host of other well known bands/artists.
seanmcfotoMemberHenry McCullough,
I’ve done sound for him with his band a number of times in 3 different venues. Incredible guitar player. One particularly outstanding track of his is ‘Failed Christian’.
Sgt_MajorMemberGot any contact details for him?
The contact on his website doesnt seem to be effective any more….
seanmcfotoMemberSgt_MajorMemberJokerParticipantIs that Henry McCullough?!
He’s the only irishman to play woodstock!
I remember him telling me the year he played, but I can’t remember when it was now, but it was with Wings.
He also gave me a free CD of his single Failed Christian :D
Love the shot, I think it really capturers his personality quite wellossie13ParticipantJoker wrote:

Yes, Henry McCullough, from Portstewart, is a remarkable guy – a real rock?n?roll legend who has seen good times and bad. He has played guitar with the ‘greats’, from Jimi Hendrix to Andrew Lloyd Webber and a host of others along the way. There is a famous film clip of him playing while standing behind a strung-out Joe Cocker singing ‘With a little help from my friends’ at the Woodstock concert from the 1960s, perhaps one of the defining moments from that famous event. Later he was lead guitarist with Paul McCartney’s band Wings, and even made a contribution on Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon.
His own albums include From Belfast To Boston and Unfinished Business.
