Hi Gavin,
Two lovely images.
The birds look lovely and sharp while the background is nicely soft.With regard to the composition I personally would prefer if the birds were
not quite so central in the frame.
A crop would also elimate that foliage which is creeping into the bottom LHS
of the second image.Well done.

Two very nice shots, as John said they’re a bit central but there still very nice shots. The first one been my favourite.

Thanks for commenting, guys. I never noticed how central they were and I’m usually a stickler for the rule of thirds. I’ll have a go at recropping them. I might get away with making them less central but there’s already a heavy crop on them so anymore will start to spoil any detail.
Very nice, lovely blue skies, we have been spoilt lately, I hope this doesnt mean no
summer though. I love Siskins, havent had any in the garden this year.Lovely birds, don’t see enough of them, thanks for presenting two fine images……/Mikka
