Couldn’t decide on a home for this one, so ended up here.
A shot of my two daughters taken last october in a local park. This is one of my favourite ‘kids’ photos even though you can’t see their faces. Any ideas on how to correct the slightly blown out areas (you’re talking to a non-techie), or are they ok as they are?

I like this shot … It reminds me of Hansel and Gretal .. (just me i guess)
I had a little play with it in PS – I just cropped it to place the path with the children more “in” the picture (in my oppinion) I darkened the tree area a little and added a curves adjustment to bring up the contrast .. there is also vignetting around the edge. I’d probably go even darker with it myself but thats just me ..

Thanks for the feedback Lorraine. Your edit is certainly along the lines of what I would have liked.
Must get the option of curves adjustment, and learn how to use them!!

Lorraines edited version is better.
Have you tried to transfer to b&w or monochrome? I think it will look good.
