Wow. Perfect timing. The shadow is really sweet and adds another layer of interest for the viewer. Really well seen on your part.
Perfect world improvement? The background seems to be more in focus than the skater. If your camera doesn’t have a fast autofocus, try pre-focusing on the spot where the rider will be. Also, the houses in the background are distracting from the action. It could be more dramatic if you found an angle where the houses weren’t so prominent, eg lower down to the left, perhaps? So the skater is at the top of the frame and the shadow is bottom left. It would look cool cos the rider would be lit from the back side. I don’t mean to nit-pick, though I am. The forum is for critique, so I am offering suggestions for how you could make an even better photograph the next time.
All that said, you have totally shown off the skills of the skater and shown your eye for a picture with the shadow. Sweet pic. Look forward to seeing what you produce next.
