Probably not the usual Skerries shots but thats not what I was after….
5D 17-40L 1s F14 Lee Grad and ND’s
5D 17-40L 30s F6.3 ( ) B&W 10 stop and Lee ND
5D 17-40L 1s F14 Lee Grad and ND’sSea spray was unreal there last night and very windy. Spent about an hour cleaning
filters and lens tonight. I’m happy enough with the results. Lots of good spots along the
head there..!Richie
phillipMember2nd one is my fav, almost like you are on top of a mountain with cloud sweeping through the valleys.

RASMITH32MemberrichiehatchMemberCheers guys…! Skerries is an area with loads of potential for sunrise and sunsets. Surprised I haven’t seen more of it on here?
Thanks again

RASMITH32MemberNosParticipantJMac-2006ParticipantNice shots Richie
like #1 and especially #2 though looks like the horizon needs some straightening?
#3 not really sure what you are conveying in this one – doesnt look up to your usual standard?richiehatchMemberThanks again for the replies… Love to hear comments and opinions.
JMac…. yeah you got me with the horizon… cant believe I let that slip through the net. :?
The third shot is an odd one indeed. A father of one of the guys I was shooting with owns one of the
boats in the harbor. When I originally took it I and he immediately liked what I saw on the back of the camera
and again when I looke at it on my monitor. I agree here it does look a little shitty…! I process most of
my work on a 24inch Dell Ultrapsharp hooked up to my MacPro. Its a great monitor with extremely vibrant
colours and brightness. Sometimes I work away on an image, throw it up on the net and forget about it.
Then I check it on my work computer or MacBook Pro and it looks quite dull and undersaturated in comparison
especailly on darkish moody sort of stuff like this one. JB7 will likely pop up and mention about my profiles
not being right for the net etc etc… He is right but I just keep forgetting to change my profiling..! Anyway
thats a long winded excuse for an image that IS slightly sub-par but I sorta like it anyway…!Thanks again
