That’s a crazy sight for Dublin-
    Where’s the chairlift?
He looks like he knows what he’s doing-

I went out for a walk in the snow, and I’m still sore…

Looks great, but it also looks softened to me, like there’s some blurring going on-
though I could be wrong, of course-

    Great colour too-

That’s a great shot, nice and uncluttered.

Nice one miniscott. Really strong colours and composition

It might be worth blurring the bottom left corner a little, imo. Not sure if those artefacts are just as a result of panning or if it’s some blown highlights.

    Good work!

My legs were really tired from the trek up and down and I slept great that night, it really does make you appreciate ski lifts.

I softened and burned the image a little to try emphases the speed and movement, when doing this I tried to keep the skier as sharp and vibrant as possible.

I think you are right about the bottom left corner, It is a little distracting, might reedit it with a little bit of burning, dodging and blurring.

To me this is a great photo if you have been at the downhill worldcup with hundreds of guys going past this would have been good to get it in the Dublin makes it extra special

    Well done

    Thanks Soda & Marc.

I followed Harry Lime’s advice and did a small bit of burning and blurring in the bottom left corner, I much rather this version.

Also see second shot from same session. On this one I feel the crop is a little to tight on the tip of his ski.

    C&C always welcome

    Richie
