Love the photos. Have you any tips on shooting surfers in particular. Did you plonk yourself in the sand with a lengthly lense or were you wandering up and down knee high in the water or bouncing up and down on the back of a jetski?
Well, Slea Head offered me a pretty perfect vantage point, really. You see, the beach is way down from the cliff, and there’s a twisty road that goes down there. I perched myself on the wall of the road, about 30-40 feet up from the surf. I was shooting at 300mm for the most part with these shots, and thus if you look closely they aren’t super sharp. But that’s ok, in small they look good! :)
