    Nice simple shot. Looks nice on the web. Not too sure if it would work in print though but I could be wrong.

    PS: Reminds me of a picture I took of my friend Gerry a while back

    Nice one Madeleine, I love this type of picture, I tried taking some of my own like that a few days ago but they were not too good.

    I’d love to see it in print, where can your work be seen in print?

    Thank you folks

    Martin: really like this image…what a great moment. Can you explain what you meant with: maybe not working in print?

    Aedan: i never took me time to create an exhibition. so busy with producing images ( ;
    Ring of Kerry Hotel is full with my images…in Cahersiveen. Will hopefully manage to finish my book this year in summer. will let you know…thank you for your interest.

    Fergus: did you take this image the last week? anyway…very eyecatching with the cherry boats.

    Simply meant that I think it looks very nice here but when printed I don’t think it will have the same impact or look as good. Not trying to be negative, its just a fact that some pictures look great on computer screen and don’t have the same look about them in print….

    I don’t think it is negative… and if so…speaking your mind is always welcome when there is a kind of quality involved.

    I was curious about a fact that you maybe point on something which i didn’t notice. I agree that there are images who come alive in small display sizes. Actually i think it is the opposite case for this image…printed in A2 will be pure meditation…for my taste. But i am sure there will be always other opinions. ( ;

    I absolutely agree that there are some pictures that don’t work in print and vice versa, however I think this one might work well in print, particularly if printed quite big. Do let us know how you get on with printing it.

    Madeleine the pic was taken a couple of years ago. I must get back there this summer and try it again and get a bit better quality.

    Hi Aedan, yes i think that is made for big size but doesn’t work at all with the wrong frame. I think the frame is the most important thing for images like this one.

    Hi Madeliene.

    Did you decide what makes a good frame for this shot and if so what did you decide? I’m no good at framing decisions but luckily I know someone that is!
