Has anyone experimented with this before and as to what film they used? I was told that Kodak wasn’t that great to go with….and as to where they got it developed in Dublin???

I have cross processed both ways, negs in E6 and trannies in C41. Both ways will give interesting results. Most people seem to go the route of transparency film developed in C41 but I much preferr neg film developed in E6. I love it as some colours will change completly to a different colour. You should try both ways and compare, it’s all down to personal choice. Both ways will produce changes in colour.

Regardless of which way you try it, make sure to bracket your exposures. One thing to remember when developing negs in E6 is to make sure the lab adds 3 stops to the developement. This is not required for slide film processed in C41.

Repro-35 in Merrion Sq. (01 6621077) will cross processing negative film in E6 chemisrty (resulting in transparencies) but they do not dev tranaparency film in C41 (resulting in negs).

I tried Kodak & Fuji films and they all produced different results so you will need to try a few and see what looks best to you.

Give it a go, its a blast.
