Slievemore Night & Day

A couple of shots of a location I love, Slievemore mountain on Achill Island.
Not gone on the night shot I am afraid, the big black mass doesn’t speak of an interesting subject personally, but that it just one voice in the midst of many. The first shot seams off to me, I think it is the long lead in coast line, seems like an age to get to the photo’s subject? I would love to be drawn closer to the buildings and the mountain. Sorry if that ain’t very positive from me, but again it is just an amatuer of less than a years experience, so take my thoughts with a pinch of salt Paul.

I like these. The first one doesn’t have much going on with that much water, but I don’t know the area so maybe can’t get as good of a view of the mountain without the water (but keeping the beach) in the picture.
The night shot works, in my opinion, pity there aren’t more lights on the mountain however. Great light in the sky.Thanks sndipo,
It’s hard to get a good shot of Slievemore. Here’s one from another shoot from a slightly different angle
I have a few on the laptop taken down on the beach so must process some of them,
Oh, much prefer this composition. Now just have to be careful that the beach doesn’t take too much from the mountain. Looks good to me though :)
