Some shots taken a few days back in the heavy snow:
This first shot shows the Malone house at the top of the hill, very posh place to get married.

I tried to process this to look like an old postcard, not too sure if it worked.

    5. Some girls having fun

#2 for me deebo – Lovely snowscene with beautiful undulations. It may be worth looking at a letterbox crop, losing a bit more of the foreground and sky.

I like the 2nf shot too, would have been better if the dude had been wearing a red coat or something brighter.
cheers, and I will look into the tighter crop

Lovely shots – I would perhaps like shots 1 to 5 completely in B&W?

They’re all nice and it’s nice to see a bit of snow-
But my preference would be in colour

    I love #3, particularly the top 2/3.

Is it the colours, the direction of movement, the snow on the branches? It just works.

    Cheers all
P&S, it was quite blowly at the time and the trees were moving a little bit. When I sharpened the pic, they looked over cooked, so i selectively sharpened and then added a bit of blur to create more of a moving feel to them. I am glad it worked

The first snow image is a super image , beautiful simple composition and really subtle colours and tones. Its a real winner.
