Was up in Cruagh this morning just taking a few shots… after doing some macro doplet shots indoors the other night I wanted to see if I could get some shots with good reflections in. These are some fo the better ones I got. C&C always welcome……

i don’t know enough on macro to comment on technical stuff, but i think the reflections are pretty cool! in the last shot in particular. would it work if the reflection was of something brighter than the grass? maybe a flower or something?

Very good David or Dave. I quite like the first, and I might
like the last almost as much if there was a little less of it; that’s
quite a lot of space you’ve left around your droplet…
    Nice work.

    Thanks for the feedback……

summerdreamn… I’m a bit restricted by the reflections as its only what is actually in the surounding area…and here there isn’t a lot as its in a forest…. but I now what you mean…maybe I need to bring some props…

Rob…thanks for the feedback……. last shot looks better smaller for some reason..not a great shot I know but imagine if every shot you posted got good reviews..!!! There is a such a high standard of macro droplet shots out there..hard to better those…. the bar has been set….. guess I need to keep trying…….

    Nice work David,
#1 would be my fav. Maybe clone the Light spot on the upper LHS just a bit distracting.
