Taken back in the heavy snow of 2010. I know i’m a little late with these ones but haven’t got to share them anywhere yet.
This first one is of Kildare town just before Christmas last year.
This featured on a locally sold Christmas card that funded the Christmas lights in Kildare Town (and sold pretty well too).
I decided to put this into B&W because the colour wasn’t great and wasn’t the sharpest as it was a 4 shot pano, shot from resting the cam on the car door.
This next one was taken on the Curragh Plains in County Kildare, think it was an 8 shot stitch.
30 sec f/8 ISO 200
Another late evening shot on the Curragh. 6-8 shot stitch I think.
30 sec f/16
I like the Kildare town one John, have done something similar locally myself and they always go down well at Christmas. One thing I noticed is that the main building has part of the tower cut out, but nonetheless it is a great capture. I can imagine not easy balancing the camera on the car door!

Thanks for your comment Mike. The tower had to be cut out during the stitching process, wasn’t happy about loosing that, lesson for next time I suppose :-) Sadly I didn’t have my tripod that night so you make do with what you got.
