Snow? Pah. No chance. Your paper must be the Finland Times or something.
Anyone can make a mistake. Here’s the view from Bloke Towers this morning.
Alan RossiterParticipantQuote from Monty Pythons “The Life of Brian”…
“You lucky, lucky B*****ds”
All we get is a mild frost, pah!
Alan.
seanmcfotoMembermonoParticipantI got my snow….yipeeee
Surplus snow for sale ?5 a bag for those who are missing out
Mr.HParticipantEnjoy it while you can.. sounds like it will warm up fairly quickly during the day. Didn’t quite happen for us in wicklow, which is just as well as I would have been really miserable coming into work.
Martin – that looks like fun in a masochistic kinda way, although for some reason the phrase ‘you need a check-up from the neck-up’ springs to mind.
Alan RossiterParticipantWhippee – we’ve got melted snow falling here…feckin’ typical!
Anybody want a photograph of rain, then?
Alan.
cathaldParticipantirishshaguaParticipantAll we got of snow was about equal to someone with really bad dandruff jumping up and down in the garden for ten minutes. Terrible. There shall be no snow man here this year me-thinks. :-(

Alan, Joseph yis are wimps, camping in winter is great crack. Belows is a slide from a few years ago on the clubs yearly camp out on the summit of Lugnaquilla in Wicklow. We do it every February. If any of you are interested your more than welcome to come along for this years, Alan, Joseph are you interested i have room in the tent?
you’re dead right Martin-
though its probably interesting to note, that historically,
nobody has ever bothered to try to live on the summit of Ireland’s highest mountains-Which reminds me of a quote from Mad Magazine from the seventies-
John Boy Walton- “Daddy, why do we live at the foot of Walton’s Mountain?”
John Walton- “Well son, if we lived on the slopes, we’d probably fall off”
I rest my case-

Nice view Pete-
That’s next year’s christmas card sorted then-
VAubreyMemberYou are lucky! I see you really have nice snow. We have very cold weather (-15 C and north wind) but without snow  I’m a bit jealous, it’s not fair, lol
