He was good to me a D8o and 18-135mm kit lens, 2 gb SD card.
SodaAsked for a 30D ended up with an electric shaver. Did purchase a set of Interfit lights though E-150 waiting on their arrrival. Also a Sekonic L-308S Hoping that customs will not spot this one coming for states :roll:
I got a Manfrotto tripod :) and couple of nice books :)

Photography related Chrissy presents were mainly books..oh and a nifty photo album to store the magnificent prints that I will produce when I finish reading all the books :D

8)Santa got me a very nice book (“Magnum Stories”, get it if you can, excellent reading). And I did a sort of present-bracketing exercise on Christmas by getting my 30D just before, and a fab Jupiter-9 (Russian 85mm f/2 portrait beast, manual focus, preset manual aperture) just after.
I was very well behaved so Santa brought me David Attenborough’s “Planet Earth”, Tom Waits’ “Orphans”,
Ben Willmore’s “Studio Techniques”, Katrin Eismann’s “Restoration and Retouching”, and a couple of bottles
of Jack’s finest. Let the good times rollRob.
Sure Christmas is only for the kids :) I got one of those LCD frames. I was a bit sceptical before but it’s really cool.
Santa via the missus gave me a lowe pro bag and plenty of warm outdoor clothing… and I gave myself an infra-red digital photography book, plus a couple of bottles of Koppaberg to make sure the outdoor clothing works!!!
My lady in red got me an easel and a set of acrylic paints. I wasn’t much good with watercolours, so there’s no reason I’ll be any good with acrylics, but if persistence is rewarded I’ll become a sought-after artist one day.
I got a slow cooker. Which arrived yesterday. That’s. Kinda slow. Not sure if the ‘slow’ refers to delivery method or map reading skills but sure at least it actually arrived. It’s probably a hint of some form to encourage my healthy eating habits.
Photography wise, and the recent mention of food photography, I guess it’ll give me some 8-10 hours opportunity to get that WOW pic. I’ll sure as hell be hungry by that time. Mmmm yes.
