SOLD : Canon 5D & BG-E4 Battery Grip

I’m selling my Canon 5D MkI & Battery grip complete with box, strap, instructions, leads, charger, cables – all original Canon products – PRICE €850
I’m also including three batteries – two genuine Canon and one aftermarket (the aftermarket one performs better than the Canon ones)
The grip is a genuine Canon BG-E4.

I will split the body and grip only if I have offers on both which equal the asking price.

The Canon 5D is a full frame camera so you cannot use the smaller EFS lenses.

I’m not going to copy and paste all the waffle from the various online reviews.
If you’re reading this then you probably know how good the 5D is.

The camera is in excellent condition and has had only light amateur use. Canon people will know that there was an issue with the mirror falling out of the 5D’s.
Fortunatley this did happen to mine and the camera was returned to Canon UK and the mirror replaced under warranty. They also cleaned and serviced the camera free of charge.
The receipt for this repair is included. Canon kindly gave me the shutter count (which is impossible to get without going back to Canon) and it was 14,284 last September.
I’ve probably put another 3-4k on top of that so there is less than 20k actuations.
The sensor was cleaned again professionally two weeks ago by DML.

The two LCD screens have been fitted with screen protectors from day one.

The camera can be viewed in Dublin 22 during working hours or in Trim Co. Meath in the evening/weekend.
Free registered postage to anywhere in Ireland is included in the price.

Oh and the reason for sale? Just got a MkII for my birthday :-)
