SOLD *** Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM

NikonguyParticipant
I am selling my brilliant Canon 70-300 F4.5-5.6 IS USM. It is cosmetically like new and in immaculate condition with no visible signs of use.
The reason i am selling it is that I am going Full frame with a Nikon D700.
I have it a little over a year and have only used it a max of 6 times. I am mainly a wide angle guy so did not really have need to use it.
This lens currently retails new in Conns Cameras for €599 so €380 is a really great bargain.
If you are not familiar with how good this lens is here is a review.

NikonguyParticipantpihjinMemberI would be strongly interested in this…
I am a little bit of a newbie though and I currently use a Canon 400D which I know this lens is compatible with…
In about a years time though I hope to buy a Canon 5d mkII… would this lens still work with that camera? Also is there any barrel slip on this lens at all?
Where abouts are you based?
If I can use this lens with the full frame camera as well as the one I use now, and if it’s in great condition (which I trust it is… people on here tend to be pretty honest) then I would like to offer you €350 for it.
NikonguyParticipantHi Pihjin.
Thank you for your interest in my lens.
This is an EF lens and therefor is suitable for both cropped (400D) and fullframe (5DMkII). One of its advantages.
There is no lens creep as far as I am aware, but I will check it out again this morning. The lens is like new with absolutely no visible signs of use.You will not be disappointed but have a look for yourself without obligation.
I will accept your offer of €350.
If you are happy to proceed I will PM you with details of where I live etc.
NikonguyParticipantHi Pihjin.
I have checked the lens this afternoon.
There is definitely no lens creep.PM sent
