Excellent condition, very little in the way of usage marks, a few areas of minor cosmetic wear around battery area etc. When this camera came to me I believe it had about 35,000 actuations on it – I’ve added about 25,000 to that so I would guess around 60,000 at this stage – so for a 1D it’s only broken in really. Only Canon can give an exact figure so don’t ask me for it.
A late body in the production run, this camera from new was not affected by any AF issues. Performance in AI Servo is night and day compared to the Mark II, which was very good, but the FPS couldn’t keep up – not an issue with this camera. Low light performance is excellent too. Ideal for sports or birding/wildlife. The battery goes on forever as well, over 2,000 shots – I have an original Canon spare battery included as well as the charger, so there’s 2 batteries total. Original manual included.
