For sale my Sigma DP1.
This is an opportunity to purchase an “as new” compact Sigma DP1. I bought it 6 months ago, in Ireland. I have the receipt and it is still under guarantee.
For those who know about the unique quality of the images that this little beauty produces I need say no more.
For those who do not know about this camera here you go.
• DSLR image quality. In fact it has been compared to the Canon Eos 5 image qualities.
• DSLR size sensor. About 10 times the size of normal compact sensor. This is the only compact that has such a sensor and combined with it being a Foveon sensor the photos just jump off the PC viewer or prints.
• Fixed 28mm F4 focal length lens.
• Foveon sensor
• Produces Raw images.
This camera is for the serious photographer, not beginners.
I prefer the images from the DP1 than my E3 and 12-60 zoom lens
It is for the thoughtful photographer.
It is for those that love to take landscape and city scenes. The positives.
• Image quality, image quality, image quality.
• Compact size.The negatives.
• Slow Write speed, about 4 seconds in Raw.
• Not for the beginner.
• You may not be happy with your DSLR images anymore. I kid you not.My reason for sale is to fund my purchase of a DP2 just released. I think I am the 1st person to have this in Ireland. I imported it from Japan last week.
capture3ParticipantNikonguyParticipantThanks capture3.
€300 is the lowest i am prepared to go.
I will however throw in the VF-11 external optical viewfinder worth about €100
capture3ParticipantNikonguyParticipantHi Capture3
No lens hood I am afraid. This was another optional extra. I did not opt for this.
To be honest, I have had no lens flare issues with it.
For anyone buying it I will be giving a 1 week no quibble refund guarantee. It is that good and I want anyone who buys it to be as happy as I have been with it.
Cheers,
capture3ParticipantNikonguyParticipantWould do.
An Post, registered parcel.
Payment to me direct to my current a/c. This would have to be from an Ulster bank to my Ulster bank a/c.
I would PM you the details
Cheers
capture3ParticipantNikonguyParticipantGrand Capture3,
Will pm you bank details tomorrow and no problem on the no quibble guarantee.
Cheers
