I bought this lens new, 3 years ago and the glass & body are in perfect condition apart from a few scratches on the tripod collar mount plate. I use this lens coupled with a 1.4x Extender most weekends for sport and my reason for selling is to finance an upgrade to longer glass. To the best of my knowledge, warranty only lasts for 12 months, and would be expired at this point in time.
