    SOLD ELSEWHERE
    Hi,
As it says, I’m selling the above lens.
If you’re looking at this, you probably know the strengths of this lens ie:
Superb build quality (everything is metal including the focusing ring & lens hood)
    Zeiss image quality

This is a Canon mount Manual Focus lens.

The lens is in mint condition, & includes everything as new (Box, caps, hood, papers etc)

I’m only selling because I’m finding it more difficult to focus manually the older I get

The cost of this lens in Conns is €749
I’m selling for a FIRM €450 , giving a saving of (almost) €300 on the new price.

    Any questions, please ask.

    Hi Rog,

Could be interested. Can you let me know when and where was it purchased? Thanks

    Hi Sinlight,
It was purchased about a year ago (I think) direct from the Zeiss Factory in Germany.
The Zeiss lenses weren’t in the shops here at the time.
It cost €649 + p&p, which was about €70, so the total wasn’t far off the €749 being quoted in Conns now.
Obviously, Germany being part of th EU, there is no duty issues involved, and once you have the invoice, you
could take this lens anywhere without any vat/duty problems.
I bought three Zeiss ZE lenses, over a period of time. (18mm, 35mm and this 50mm)
I had the 18mm advertised on this site, but it was sold elsewhere.
I also had a Canon 1DsII, with a split image focusing screen, on which I used these three lenses, but I sold it.
Hence the sale of this lens.
I’ll probably get round to selling the 35mm at a later date.
There are no issues with any of these lenses, and all are/were optically and cosmetically mint.
I’m not at home at the moment to check the invoice, but I reckon it’s about a year.
    Any further questions, please ask.
    Regards
    Rog

I’d be interested in buying this. Where can it be viewed?

    Hi adamgray,
I’d forgot I had the lens advertised on this site. I actually sold this lens a couple of days ago on another site.
I’ll amend the post to confirm this.
    Sorry about that.
    Regards
    Rog
