In 1958, Yashica manufactured a one and only dual format TLR, the Yashica 635. What makes the Yashica 635 so special amongst TLRs, is it’s ability to take 6×6 on 120 rollfilm and 24x36mm on 35mm film (with optional adapter kit). It has an all metal construction and is very durable. It is great for portraits, architecture, and scenery. It has a beautiful Copal MVX leaf shutter with speeds of 1 to 1/500.It has a PC connector for flash sync, and because it uses a leaf shutter it is capable of X sync at all shutter speeds. It has a coated 3 element Yashikor 80mm f/3.5 lens. It accepts bay 1 filter and hoods. Shutter speed and aperture are controlled by turning small dials on the front of the camera just above the taking lens with readout showing their settings above the viewing lens so they can be viewed while looking in the finder. It has a frame counter, and film is advanced by manually cranking the film advance knob until it stops turning.
