Bet you were expecting Irish Stew, Bacon & Cabbage, Colcannon and the like… fooled ya…

The Pink, Yella and Purple “Shnack”… a true Irish classic…

The inspiration came from Kilnascully where one of Pat Short’s characters, the school teacher, asks the local bar owner (Jacksy) for a “Pink Shnack”. Just one of those little witty gems that not everyone would pick up on.

A classic! That with a pack a Tay-ho and a bockle a red lemonade and we’ve a party on our hands.

I bet it looks great printed.

OMG~~ now THAT makes me hungry!

Love the simple presentation..takes nothing away from the sheer delight of the treat.

Good DOF..though still too far away from my mouth~

Rob + Wonka: I can’t believe there isn’t more respect for the Shnack bars… these bars are as closely associated to Ireland as St. Patrick, Shamrock, 20 Major and Guinness :P
