    Hi all,

I took these today when I suddenly got the chance to go on a photo flight for the first time, so I am still working on them, but here are some of them

Large size of above sized for desktop if you wish:

There are some more here too:

    Hope you like!

As you may have noticed I did some artificial tilt and shift work on some, sorry if this annoys any purists, just experimenting! :)

I think you’ve ruined some very good shots by processing them like that, though you do have the original files safe, don’t you? I’d love a trip over the Mournes. Were you in a plane or a helicopter? Was the vibration a big problem? I hope you post some more Peter, I’d love to see them.

    Hi Alex,

Thanks for feedback alex :) Ys I have the originals, whenever I experiment like that I ALWAYS keep the originals!!

I was in a plane, The vibration was not a big problem as long as I kept my shutter speed under 1/2500th ish…

There are some more imaes in the flickr link here, not all tilt shift processed :)

Where did you get a plane? Is it possible to pay a flight over Dublin?

A friend of mine rents one every 4 weeks to keep his skills up to date – he last minute offered to take me along!

mmx try out dublin airport or any airport, most airports will have learning schools, for about €50-100 you can get a flying lesson, take you camera and just take photos, instructor should not mind and he take you were you want, very helpful here in cork even tip the plane for a better shot
