Hi Daniela,
I am not an expert on any area of photography and there are far more
technically expert portrait photographers on here.I always think it’s nice if someone comments when a member posts some images.
Portraits of people we know especially our family or our children can be very good
simply because of the subject.When a photographic subject dosen’t have that emotional connection the viewer looks
for other things to engage their interest and composition, exposure, whether the subject is
interesting and other technical matters carry more weight.Firstly I think you may have posted too many images and that can make it difficult
to comment as there is so much to take in.
I think 1, 2 or at most 3 images are normally enough images to post in order to
elicit a response.You have a nice selection of images here.
The flash may have been a little strong into the faces in a couple of them.All in all I’m sure the family of the subject would
be very pleased to have these.Cheers.
