AliParticipant
did a quick edit on the second. I think it’s a cracking shot. I suppose my critique can be reflected in my edit.
ThorstenMemberAli, FWIW, I think you’ve gone a tad too far on the rotation. Although I think horizontal eyes are a no-no in my opinion, they seem to work well here. Maybe that’s just because they are so poweful.
elludeParticipantWhoooah – certainly looks as like Beth has become the favourite model around here…
(with good reason, of course :) )

left the rotation in to show what i think it required. Since there’s also a neutral background what you could do beast is transform and extend the backdrop so that she is cropped to the left.
Here’s an example of horizontal eyes.
Extending the backdrop.
elludeParticipantHave to say the second shot is my favourite of the two here (maybe it’s just because I’m a colour junkie). I was about to try a quick edit on it but see Ali’s beaten me to it – and done a pretty good job too. The only other thing I might have done is to drag down the exposure curve a little.

I’ll try and post another (as yet unseen) shot here tomorrow night

Hi Ali,
I love the 2nd one there. I have a couple from the same shoot where I went for a similar shot in camera. I must trawl back through them and see if there are any keepers among them.
Thanks for the comments/edits!Not Pete the blokeParticipantI had to make those grey eyes blue again……..
I also removed the second catchlight in Beth’s eyes.RobMemberQuite like the mono image with the heavy eye makeup, but Ali’s edit with the
extended backdrop looks the best to me. Like Ross’s edit too but the blue
may be a little overcooked. Stunning model.Rob.
