Taken a good many years ago with film and developed by myself, bought a cheap scanner lately so I taught I should put some up. They haven’t been seen for many years.
Would like to hear yer opinions
Joe
RobMemberCheap scanner?
Fabulous pictures. Do you remember, or better still do you have it written down
anywhere what camera/film you used and any or all of your settings?jb7ParticipantAlan RossiterParticipantI can only echo my fellow early birds…great shots. And I’d love to be able to cross my legs like the gent in the first image at his age! The third – A definite example of how street photography should present itself…natural, quirky and real.

AllinthemindParticipantmgstParticipantlousyParticipantDitto everything above.
Lovely to look at these old stuff. They are all excellent, but the third takes the biscuit… or the applesPat
:roll:jessthespringerParticipantI really like the first two. The first in particular, I’m really drawn to. The closeness and direct eye contact, brilliant!
All the texture in the second too, it’s very nice. Thoughtful mood too…Sinead
PD_BARBSParticipant5faytheParticipantWhat treasures must lie in boxes & old albums that have taken on extra value with the passage of time.
Thanks for bring these to us.
John.aoluainParticipantVery nostalgic,
2 men photographed in their home in a time when life was
a lot simpler. The picture of the Woman is wonderful, great timing!
Lie these a lot.
Alan
jb7ParticipantI had to come back to these-
They’re all great, but that third one is really special-Were the first two lit,
or were you using available light? They do look like there was something extra involved…
joseph
jessthespringerParticipantI liked the first two, a lot. So much so, that I didn’t really look at the third, but now that I am looking at it,
there seems to be a really strange dof thing going on…
Just wondering if this is from the lens, or did you do something to it when you made the print, or something in PS.Sorry for all the questions. Just wondering.
Sinead
MarkKeymasterFantastic shots. I hope that you have more of them to scan and show :)
Sort of photos, I’d love to be able to say I took.
