Some Pics From My Trip To New Zealand – 1st Picture Post

Emmm… the only critique I might have is that you’ve posted up so many images in one go.
Generally three photos is a good amount for people to look at and judge per post you do..You might find a lot of people don’t comment on the ones they like out of these because there are just so many to look at.
I count 16 photos loading as I write this…
there are certainly ones in there I like (the last one… the polar bear etc.) but maybe break them up into bite-size threads for us to look at?
And you’ll also get a much better response if you post up one or two threads a day, each with a max of 3 pictures in them, and spread all this out over a number days that way.
some beautiful scenic shots there. Probably too many shots in the one post to try and provide some real critique but definitely looks like u had a great trip.

see now that there was another photo loading after what I thought was the last one.All the above is just my two cents by the way.
Some people might like going through a lot of pictures in one go.

Nice. I think there were better ones in the selection though.
Second is probably my fabourite. The foreground in the first is a little cluttered and is blocking the river or lake or whatever it is a little bit. Also the blown sky is not very nice.
Second is good but the area in the bottom right is a bit dark. I think you could probably crop a little bit off the bottom of the lake. The clouds look great in the shot though. Give brilliant interest and the mountain scene looks really peaceful. A very nice shot.
Third one is cute although the decapitated monkey is a little bit annoying.
Nice pictures, and like I said before, it looks like you enjoyed your stay there.

just give you my thougts…..
first photo: – nice valley… the clouds are not ‘strong enough’, it could be done with ND filter or in PS ( a little). I would move more left when taking the shot because the dead tree….
second photo: – I would play with midtonnes and highlight to bring up the cloudes…. the horizon of the lake needs to put little bit in level… maybe crop a little from the top?…..
third photo: – it’s cute because the baby but would like to see the mother face in full and less of the rock on the bottom.Maybe you should change the Edit my pics option to yes….. and have some examples of changes…..
These are just mine two cents by the way.
