    I don’t post that many but when I do………………………..

It’s gas how peoples’ views differ though, isn’t it. My favourite is no. 1 but it has to be seen big to get the full value. The last one looks like a crystal ship to me though there is something about it that’s not quite right.

    Thanks for your comments everyone!

Ok – time to join in the “pick which ones are best” contest :D

Number 1 and 5 for me. Really like number 6 too, but agree there’s something that doesn’t quite grab me as much as the others.

All cracking shots and technically look great. (exposure / DOF / focal point etc spot on)

What a great set of images but no 4 is the best for me.

Just had a look at the larger images and the detail in no 1 and no 2 is superb.

What lens did you use for these shots macro is not something i have tried before but i have been thinking about getting a macro lens.

    Thanks again everyone :)

Mick, I’m using the Canon 100 2.8 Macro which I bought in the For Sale section here. I had a bit of a go with it at the end of the summer and that was it. I happened to have it in the bag when I went for a walk yesterday and I must say it opened up a new world to me. All the photos were taken within a couple of hundred yards. If it wasn’t for the rugby match I would probably be still there. Yep, macro is like acquiring a new hobby.

I also have a few weeks old 5D which is really delivering!

All terrific images Danny, but it’s numbers four and
    five for me.
