Something a little different – interior at night

really like the top one, beautiful view. the blue sky contrasts perfectly with the warm colors of the interior and the composition gives a very welcoming cosy and yet classy feel to the room. the lower one is definitely not as good in comparison, the colors seem washed out, the composition is less inviting although i like the view up the quays. the less inviting composition perhaps has much to do with the position of the chair and i wonder if this would be altered any by horizontally flipping the image thus having the eye led into the image along the strong line of the cabinet or whatever that is rather than crossing the vacant space to the chair and bing led swiftly out the bottom left….
