Hi all
I gave myself a new camera after Christmas. I have long been trying to take great pictures with my compact camera, but found it difficult to transfer the picture in my mind to the actual picture. So I bought a Nikon D40 in the sales for ?430 and I?m very happy with it.
I?m still a beginner and learning and haven?t ventured further than the automatic setting, but I?m very interested in learning more. Unfortunately I don?t really have the time to go on course, even though I would really like to, so I think I will buy a good book.
I didn?t have any acquaintance to ask about cameras before I bought it, so I bought a camera magazine, and looked around at websites such as this, to find a camera which would suit me. This forum seems so friendly, so I decided to register. :D
