Like the colour shot. Does not work as well in B&W i think. Frame is nicely filled and the square looks nice
Only niggle, is the slightly blown whites
Reflection is great, what did you use to put the flower on to get the reflection?

I used the fireplace as it is black marble, turned off the lights and used a torch.
Quite surprised at how well it worked out, I am a fan of the colour one myself too :DOh and Martin I thought they were blown myself also but according to the highlight meter in camera and then looking at it in levels in photoshop it doesnt seem to actually be blown? Funny though, it does look it!
Funny, I prefer the b/w, there is just too much – pink.
Is there a grey petal in the colour one, just left of centre?Thanks for pointing that out Pixelle I got a bit confused, but as I zoomed in on it it seems to be that half of the petal was white and in shadow from the torch…which is the only thing that can explain the grey!
