Spain passion Easter

I had a break in Spain over Easter and I tried to bring some of the spirit of that amazing country home in the camera.

I like the 3rd and 4th ones the best. I wish they would stop the bull runs though :(

I don’t think Spaniards will drop the bull runs/fights for a while yet – even though the Catalans are debating banning it there. Somehow, Spain without bull runs would be a bit like Scotland without Scotch whiskey :wink:
Regards.Hi Tom, very happy to see these here. I’m Spanish myself, from Madrid, and I was looking for a place to post some shots I took of Easter processions in Spain when I saw your thread. I think you did a very good job of giving the feel of the country, although of course each region in Spain is so different to the others, like different countries in themselves, that it’s an impossible task really, but I still like what you did, specially the ones in which you juxtapose old and modern, like in the first two shots. I really like the intimacy you achieved with the shot of the penitent and the composition of the last shot with the old man. So anyway, you get my approval! :D
