Hi Brendan,
I like pictures with interesting repetatives shapes and this
fits the bill very well.
Nice tight framing with no distracting elements.The overall colour look a bit yellow to me.
Have you tried any adjustments?

Thanks John, the lighting was quite un-natural on location, with a lot of Christmas lights mixed with flourescent, that said the W/B was set on Auto. I can’t exactly remember the colour of the mushrooms at the time, but they certainly were quite yellow compated to the white types we see here.
Have a look at the whites here, they don’t seem off however the food does look goldenish:

Fantastic! It makes for a great abstract, if you forget that they’re mushrooms, and I like the colour!
