Spider on Web

One from a few weeks back. I like the way every leg is touching a strand, just waiting for the vibration of a struggling fly….

Love the punchy colours,right down to the red at the eyes. Nice use of DOF,really makes the spider and web almost jump off the page.

Nice, but I guess we are spoilt by shots of nice intact web, I was expecting that straight away. :)

I normally try to avoid photographing spiders from underneath but this shot shows how the spiders manage to place their feet on the different threads very well. Great detail throughout.
