I think you’re using small droplets of sugerwater to attract them. :wink:
looks like its either a guy or a recent hatchling. i haven’t been this close to a fly since genetics class… very nice detail.

Sorry Noely, but that ain’t good enough anymore. If someone presented one or two images of this quality and clarity in the Macro section I’d have said they were lucky. To consistently present them of this quality needs some explanation. How do you do it?? I know you have a home made lens but that alone won’t get these.
How about an instructional thread? I’m serious…I’m jealous…I’m frustrated! :?
