    I like: your use of a long shutter speed.

    I dislike: the toning – I don’t think it suits the image, I would have preferred to see the original colour.

    Suggestions:
    next time zoom in and fill the frame with about 1/5 of that image. You will get a slower speed, and I think the image will seem less cluttered.

    I used the 55 from 17-55 zoom and this is the 1/4 crop from the original. I am testing this lense and the D200 at the moment to see what can be done with them.

    A slight blue tone would be nice….

    A very strong image with a powerful composition. Its a very common subject but your ” S ” shaped composition has made it special , a really good image. The toning does warm up the image and i feel it will work equally well with a colder tone.

    When we do some toning everybody prefer some. I always choose the tone which suit more to the overal picture and bring up the details. Of course it is subjective.

    Nice one Roberto, really like it. Regarding getting your feet wet, you’ll have to invest in a pair of fishermens’ waders :lol:

    I think that is better to spend that money to my photo equipment. :wink:
