Spot of Color

Very effective.
I would suggest straightening up the doorway. Other than that, well seen.
This will be an interesting test case for the landscape moderators.

PC Plumbline of the Horizon PoliceMartinParticipantVery nice picture, almost hypnotic. I like the way you arranged the items in the frame. Only thing I can suggest is that maybe if the table leg was centered in the door frame as at the moment is it off to the left but this might be a personal thing.
RobMemberVery well spotted and captured, draws you in almost in the same
way as an Escher drawing. Interesting architecture. Would love
to see a really wide shot of this if you have one, something with
more of that building, particularly the arch…Rob.
shutterbugParticipantOoh I like that, really draws you in to the picture,
dont know if the flowers are really necessary, but then
what would you call it?? :) :)Robert55MemberSteveDParticipantVery bizarre Robert, but in a good way! An impressive image. I think the flowers would be better suited in a different position in the frame, I just can’t decide where.
It may be an optical illusion, but I detect some barrel distortion which might be worth correcting?
PeteTheBlokeMemberNice shot of some very nice architecture. I like the way the flowers offer the only colour. Perfect apart from the tiny edits suggested above.
AliParticipantLove it Robert and selective colouring is great- however i do think the shot stands without the flowers and the perspective is probably
a bit better without the section of the wall to the complete left of the image. Very very nice.GrahamBParticipantcracking shot Robert.
Is it an optical illusion or does the shot need a 1 degree CCW rotation.
either that or my chair is off by one degree.Anyway great shot all the same. I’d love to see more of that building if you have some
PeteTheBlokeMemberI didn’t realise it was selectively coloured. I thought the stonework really was that colour. No?
PixelleMemberI thought it was as seen too. But on looking more carefully I still think so.
Interesting. Do tell.
Not Pete the blokeParticipantThere are definite colour tones in the marble, so I think it is not selectively coloured?
