    Robins quite nice, better composed then the first which I thought was a starling but its not, dont recognise it….

    Blackbird … how in the ^%& did you get so close? Both it and the Robin are too “smooth”. Did you use noise ware? If so, apply it to the background and not to the subject. I think I’ve said how hard I find it to shoot Robins. They are superb subjects but so hard to shoot. I love them but have never gotten a good shot. It’s heart breaking to know how close they are by their unique sound but you can’t get a great shot. I might be way off but it looks like the BB is sharpened to compensate for long range or lack of focus. The Robin looks like it was sharp to begin with…. if it was noise then I’d say go with it and go for a kind of landscapy shot.
