Squrrels!

A few squrrel shots from my Canada holiday last year!
All shot on the Canon 20d with the 300 f4L, the 2nd one I think used a 2x teleconverter as well.
Very cute, looks like a young one, I love the light in the first shot but
I think my favourite is #3 just because the background is nicer.Yeah the twig in #1 really annoys me, i’ve tried cloning it out before but it still doesnt look quite right. #3 was shot in shadow so I didnt get the tones that #1 had. I always think #2 looks like he’s about to break into the Bakerstreet saxaphone solo!

Number 3 is my favourite too, the twig in 1 doesn’t bother me too much, the exact profile is great.Well caught,

Lovely photos, are they Red squirrels?
If so I’m confused as I thought the Grey came from North America?
