T’was a windy evening on Wednesday. I went down with the intention of getting a few long exposure shots of rocks in a low tide. The wind unfortunately could not be sheltered from the camera so all I had was a nice collection of long, blurred exposures.

This is a fence running over a stone wall to keep the stripey cows in (no, I’m not loosing it – there were stripey cows there)

Bottom half is the nicer of the two half’s though, as you follow the fence into the distance its not as strong a feature which makes the top half not as strong if you know what i mean

Would be tempted to crop down from the top to exactly on the horizon as i find the sky distracting

……so I scrolled down to have a look at wonka’s stripey cows, and all I got was a fence. :(

Nice fence though, great 3-D lighting on the posts.

    Whew!
I had been imagining some freaky zebra- type crossbreds.

    Hi Alan,
I’d agree with Martin about the crop – the horizon so close to the top is distracting. Having said that I really like the square format. I just had a look at the others in your gallery of square format shots on flickr and there are some really lovely shots, visually very strong and the square crop really sets them off imo.
