This sprawling castle in the Kyrenia mountains in North Cyprus was FASCINATING. The foreground is a bit bleh, but I like how the sun had lit up the castle bit itself. C&C welcome, of course.
And another shot from a different angle, further down the mountain… shame about the visitor’s centre being crammed in front of the best view:
That looks lovely, love the first one, I dont think you could have framed
it any different it has a nice balance to it, the rest of the shot and the sky
are so nice that the eye doesnt rest on the foreground for long anyway.
 Wow what a sky – roll on summer. Great colours antifuse. the first shot i think the building is lost in all of the rock, i think i’d be tempted to crop a bit tighter
and keep the line of the rock on the diagonal – very nice composition. The second shot, there’s quite alot going on, i think you could possibly have a few shots in there ?
The skies were absolutely gorgeous over in Cyprus… but it was FREEZING! Colder than it was here the week of Stephen’s day anyway. The only reason I didn’t crop the first one because the castle very much *was* lost among the rocks…
