I can only see the top one,
lovely colouring-
I must check out that bridge myself :wink:j
ExpresbroParticipantSome nice images of the Green Patricia :D 2nd shot is the one for me. You’ve obviously experienced the Irish weather in all it’s glory  I like the reflections of the trees in the rain soaked path and the way that path leads you’re eyes right to the bridge. Nicely framed.

8)joe_elwayParticipantIf the weather had cooperated I can see how #1 and #2 would really pop with some great colour.
RodcunhaParticipantSome very nice compositions, I see you got a taste of the Irish weather as well on your visit Patricia !!!
Regards,
Rod
erinParticipantThanks guys, once again for your welcoming!! I kind enjoyed the weather, it started raining exactly at the time I arrived and I embraced that the best way I know. The streets of Dublin look just amazing with all that rain. It was tree unforgettable days!! I only had time to see Dublin, Killiney, Dalkey and D?n Laoghaire. I have to show you my other pictures of these places.
Thanks
LoGillParticipantHi Erin
Looks like you had very typical weather here :) Although I see in your Custom House shot that there was blue sky too..
I’ve looked at these a few times and admired your composition, particularly in the first three… and also – can I ask — how did you manage the autumnal tones – they didn’t look like that last week when I was there ;)
My favourite is the first with the summer house and the view over the lake – .. I think a panoramic crop could improve it .. but either way I love the angle (taken from the bridge is that right ?) and the isolation you have captured – lovely .

erinParticipantHi Lorraine,
We?ve probably been there at the same time! I visited the Green that same weekend, but I had to run, had just a few days to see everything. The autumn tones were a little enhanced by the selective colour and saturation, to bring up those characteristic colours. And as you said, it was taken from the bridge. I have try that panoramic crop, thanks for the tip.
I think my favourite remains the first one too.
Thanks a million Lorraine
andy mcinroyParticipantHi Erin,
I missed these ones the first time around so it’s nice to see them given a well deserved bump.
It’s interesting that this one returns because some of the comments I made on Joe’s thread are demonstrated very well here.
Number 2 is my favorite of the 4. I love the way that you have controlled the chaos of the trees by using them as a frame and leading the path through them. I also like the way that you have disguised the overcast sky but at the same time used it to your advantage to isolate the detail of the branches. The right hand trunk and dark hanging branch in the upper left make particularly strong elements to contrast with the bright clarity of the central section.
Very nice.
Andy
erinParticipantThanks Andy
The sky and all the weather conditions were difficult to evade. But, as you say, I tried to use that the best way I new. The autumn colours look great with a more direct and bright light, but I learn to love this winter atmosphere in my trip to Ireland. I?m glad you like it Andy.
